Welcome to Grozone Community Garden, Northwich
Grozone is a flourishing community garden, horticulture and wildlife project in the middle of Northwich, Cheshire
We provide volunteering opportunities for all and social and horticultural therapy for people with mild to moderate depression and anxiety.
This 'hidden oasis' is a fantastic place for mind and body, where you can learn new skills or share and develop existing ones in a welcoming and sociable outdoor environment.
Covid-19 Secure opening arrangements
The health and wellbeing of people in our community is our top priority. Following the latest Government guidance we are open again, with new added precautions to keep everyone safe.
As of 5th August, we are running volunteering sessions from 10.00am till 12.00pm and 1.00pm till 3.00pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
We want to ensure that as many people as possible get to come along. To help with social distancing measures, we need to limit the number of volunteers on site at any one time to 15. To ensure that people aren’t turned away, we therefore need to operate a booking system. Please follow this link to make a booking:
For the time being, please only book yourself onto one session per week, and if you want to come every week, please book onto the same weekly session (as this will help us to create volunteer ‘bubbles’). You are welcome to liaise with others to allow you to book onto the same sessions, and if you know someone who can’t book on themselves, you can book a place for them.
Please only book if you know that you can come along for that session, as we don’t want to deprive others of the opportunity. We hope to be able to relax these measures soon, but in the meantime, thanks for your understanding and patience.
If you usually come as part of a group, please get in touch and we'll do what we can to help.
We look forward to seeing you again soon.
